I don't see how this technology uses any particular form of Origami. So they make cuts in a material then mold it and harden it? How is this folding? I can think of extensive examples of Origami used in Architecture or Engineering projects, but I don't think this one fits the bill. Sounds more like the author just wants to use the word in the title for show.

That is probably the sexiest tech I have seen this summer. hoo ah.
