Sex Pistols is back, too. Maybe there's money in touring but not in selling records?

You guys are late. This was proven to be fake, Frank Black testing out the british press.

Frank Black does a ton of pixies songs live with the Catholics, but it wasn't the same. Can't. Freaking. Wait. Ben Garvey

Hey Mr /m10, Cory always signs on (and gets the little star). If you want to make disparaging comments about Cory, I'm not going to stop you, but at least you should have the balls to use your own name, not his.

I hope this aint some kind of hoax as suggested although it does seem a bit too good to be true! Last I heard both Frank Black and Kim Deal had ruled out ever getting together again. Can we get this confirmed somehow.

The Pixies were one of my favorite bands to listen to RECORDED. I saw them live a few times (didn't learn after the first), and I have to admit that they were mediocre at best. No, they weren't tired, sick, or jaded, they looked excited - it was right after Surfer Rosa came out. Saw them at the same place too ( the old 9:30 club in DC) to sold out shows (250 people). I was still sadly disappointed. I'll gladly buy another CD if they put out something good(not like the later junk), but I'll pass on their live shows.
Hey, it happen - some bands sound great live and crappy recorded, and vise versa. Hopefuly the last ten years have given them some real anger, aggression and angst to put out a fiercely great album.
