There's got to be a hip new name for viewing pictures on the web, taken by phonecams of television screens that show people on the street taking phonecam pics of the mobs.
I've lost count of how many degrees of separation from the actual event being moblogged are there.

hmmm... methinks they are people in other areas (?)
I used to live and work in Manhattan. Every day is rush hour, thousands are packed into the subway stations with little oxygen and no elbow room. The subway stops all the damn time! There are probably many to whom this has seemed like a normal ride home.
We are getting more than a few pics from all over the city, but so far none from Detroit. I'll be looting will be crazy there. We got some posts from Ottowa and Albany, too.
I'm just hearing on the news that NORAD is launching air patrols over the eastern US "just in case" :-\
