I am glad you folks liked the image. There are few more full screen panoramas of petra on my website if you missed them, http://www.gregdowning.com/
lerhaupt, You'll be glad to hear that Petra no longer smells like urine, I was there last septemeber. It is probably due to the fact that they get almost no tourists anymore, only 200 people went into the partk the day I was there. I wish I could have gone on a tour to learn about what I was seeing but I only had one day and had to shoot photos as fast as I could.
here you can zoom up to the paintings in the cathedral and baptistery in Parma.

I've been to Petra before, and the tour guide mentioned that the building also may have served as testament to their calendar system. I don't quite remember the details, but apparantly from one side 31 columns can be seen but from another only 30. There were other sorts of similar things brought up to go along with this, but the most vivid recollection of the place that I had was that it reeked of urine.

Very cool. That's the best QTVR image I've ever seen. Usually, when you zoom in on these things, the resolution is really poor. This is nice and crisp.
