Naw, you'll be fine. Hey, does any of the money go to the original person in the photo? It might help launch careers for some of these kids who want to go pro on friendster.

Amongst other memes, that image would be a fine Mirror Project submission.

cowboy x - i'd totally forgotten about the Mirror Project (and I'm even on it) probably because it is a meme that encompasses the whole picture, when i had been thinking about all of the recursive jokes w/ who was wearing a t-shirt w/ a picture of somebody else w/ somebody else's t-shirt on it. whythe - given my net profit and a generous royalty rate of 20%, if anybody pictured in any of the shirts i've sold (and so far i've actually sold and been paid for one) gets back to me i can send them a dollar or 2, or buy them a PBR at the Rainbo if they're in Chicago.

How many of these have you sent out? Enough for people to start their own live-action Friendster?

funny how he randomly picked xeni's profile, and also funny how xeni randomly picked that one to use in her post.

/m14, get a life idiot. "funny" how xeni simply posted an item from gawker.com that included this photo. why the fuck shouldn't she? call in the iraqi weapons inspectors! alert the media, someone on boingboing actually cut and pasted something from another blog! oooh it's a conspiracy! maybe you're upset because you'd rather see your own face on that t-shirt? don't worry, you can have your own fifteen minutes of fame on boingboing by posting whiny little flames about the editors on the discussion boards. carry on, asshole.

friendster - i'm really curious what your deleted post said. was it a whole bunch of profanity? cause that swearing stuff is like a knife in my side.
anyway, you're totally right. the actions of the boingboing "editors" are above reproach. a thousand apologies.

The Xeni shirt was actually a calculated attempt to make the most self-referential t-shirt humanly possible, thus creating a black hole of navel-gazing and speculation. So far I've sold 1 shirt, given away 2 and traded 2 more with friends for liquor or food. I have orders for about 30.

One day, I went on a plaza wearing a t-shirt with a friendster logo design. I am the one who put it in my clothes by a needle and a pin. All of my friends looks and stare at me in a few minutes and they said, "where did you buy it?" and then I said I am the one who made it. They all make a transaction to me. They all pay me for the t-shirts I made for them. It's how friendster so popular in the world. Thank you friendster for the small business I use for my studies now.
