Think of it as The Onion meets Daily Variety, Entertainment Weekly, and Entertainment Tonight.
Only not funny.
Well, at least it's as advertised then -- 3 of those organs (now there's a funny word) aren't funny on purpose, and The Onion is only sporadically funny, so that's a less than 25% mix of funny. Come to think of it, I'm not sure the site was quite up to 20% funny.

It's too close to real without any sort of edge. Ted C. makes stuff up--except the stuff he DOESN"T is so much stranger. It reads as if it's written by someone who doesn't actually work in the business, but would like to.

Gee, wish I was a personal close friend of this site's bloggers, then I could have it plugged here, and I soon will be on my way to earning $MILLION$ in this amazing treasure chest known as the Inter-Net.
Well shit dude, I've got to jump on defense here and say "Well, duh". Blogging is all about people posting about their friends, what interests them, hyping each other's projects, etc. I don't think you're going to find a blog anywhere that is not in it to promote something whether it's an ideal or an $item$. What's nefarious about Xeni hyping her friend's project? I mean, dang, it's her blog, she can post what she wants ta, you know? Don't like it? Don't read it.Kind of like the SARSArt stuff. I thought it sucked in soooo many ways, but I never once slammed the creator of the site with the mindset of "Hey! This thing you're doing. It sucks! Take it off". I mean, it's not my site! I don't like it..? *Click*.. next site please. All of that said.. back to reality...or rather, the post in question.. Ditto Ryan. "Like the Onion!... but Not Funny!"

I have an idea for a website now. It will be called SiteNotFunny.com.
SiteNotFunny.com will blog articles from other sites that are SUPPOSED to be funny but are tragically not -- YET when they are listed at SiteNotFunny.com, they SORTA become funny. The irony will come from pointing out the failed ironists. Or something like that.
Gee, wish I was a personal close friend of this site's bloggers, then I could have it plugged here, and I soon will be on my way to earning $MILLION$ in this amazing treasure chest known as the Inter-Net.
